Picture Farm started life as a print production operation, and print remains a core strand of the business. It is a medium that we love: it calls for nimble, scalable productions and intense collaborations with the photographer and clients.
We teamed up with our charter client Christopher Griffith on the first of the Delta shoots in November 2009. It was a cold and windy session on the airfield in Atlanta and the beginning of a relationship that is still alive and kicking between ourselves, Wieden+Kennedy and Delta Airlines. The key to the success of the process, quite beyond the beautiful shots we have generated with Christopher, is the partnership we have developed with the agency and the trust that we have earned from the client – they can be confident that we understand and can operate within the highly controlled yet constantly shifting and unpredictable universe of the airline industry, a place that requires the most minutely detailed preparations, and the ability from the team on the ground to turn on a dime and find solutions at a moments notice.
