EXECUTIVE LUNCH: SAMURAI MAMA

Just a few blocks away on Grand Street is Samurai Mama, the “awesome second act” from Bozu’s Makato Suzuki.  Spicy udon noodles, traditional tapas plates and family style serving all in a gorgeously crafted Japanese cafateria-esque space. For a while, Williamsburg was missing a truly great udon shop to round out the gastro-explosion.  Not anymore.
